Collaboration brings together state-of-the-art knowledge and practice-oriented data

The start of 2018 marks another new joint lab for ADS, this time with insurer VIVAT. The aim of this lab is to conduct joint research applying advanced techniques in mathematics, statistics, computer science and artificial intelligence within the insurance sector.

The joint research lab of ADS and VIVAT will focus on data science, fraud detection, predictions, text mining, multi-touchpoint analysis, evaluation methods and learning algorithms. For this, three projects have been defined for PhD students:

  • Customer value models 
  • Fraud detection 
  • Customer acquisition and Multi-touchpoint Customer Journeys

ADS accelerates Data Science research by connecting, sharing and demonstrating new developments, expertise and talent in Amsterdam on a regional, national and international level. The knowledge institutions are known for the highest level of research and education in Data Science.
